Sheila brings over 20 years of diverse experience in education, having served as an educator, mentor, director, and leader. As Director of Account Management at The Social Institute, she leads efforts to strengthen and grow school partnerships that empower students, families, and educators to navigate their social worlds in positive, healthy, and impactful ways. Sheila oversees account management initiatives and works closely with partner schools nationwide to maximize their impact, helping expand TSI’s mission and increase its influence in communities across the country.
Before joining The Social Institute, Sheila built a career deeply rooted in education, serving in roles that spanned classroom teaching, curriculum and instruction leadership, and mentorship program leadership as Director of a Fellows Program. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rosemont College, a Master’s in Education from Manhattanville College, and a Master’s in Social Work from SUNY Stony Brook. Combined with a background in business, her experience gives her a well-rounded perspective on supporting educators and students alike. Now based in Austin, Texas, Sheila and her husband find joy in raising their three children, each with their own unique interests, needs, and passions—an experience that continues to inspire her work in equipping students with the skills to thrive in today’s ever-evolving world.
