How Episcopal Academy utilized The Social Institute’s turnkey curriculum to address SEL across multiple divisions.

This case study explores how Episcopal Academy integrated TSI’s #WinAtSocial Program across multiple divisions and addressed wide-ranging challenges. Founded in 1785 and located in Newtown Square, PA, Episcopal Academy is one of the oldest independent Episcopal schools in the United States. The school’s leadership is dedicated to the community-wide mission of nurturing Mind, Body, and Spirit, which fuels their interest in prioritizing social-emotional health with each of its 1,200 Pre-K through 12th-grade students.

  • How do we empower teachers who feel uncomfortable or unqualified facilitating SEL?
  • How do we address developmental needs across a wide range of grade levels?
  • How do we integrate SEL to fit our pre-existing culture?
