Christina Cooper, Director of Marketing, leads The Social Institute’s vision to serve school communities with world-class content that benefits schools, students, and parents.
Prior to The Social Institute, Christina led social media strategy at Capital One working on priority initiatives with as SXSW and AWS Re:Invent. Before Capital One, she worked at award-winning advertising agencies The Martin Agency and McKinney, where she led clients including Sherwin-Williams, Georgia-Pacific, and Hanes to impactful creative work.
Christina is deeply embedded in her Richmond, VA community, and served as the Assistant Director to Richmond Urban Dance – a hip-hop dance studio – for 2 years and she even danced at the 2019 Orange Bowl Halftime Show! Christina is passionate about helping students succeed on and off social media and is thrilled to reach students nationwide through the TSI curriculum. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications with Honors from Elon University.
